Customer service and all-around administrative Associate Nicole Runions is the kind of person who makes you smile whenever you talk to her.

In fact, vivacious might be an understatement in describing Nicole’s personality. She works at Ohio Valley Wine & Beer Company in Evendale, just north of Cincinnati, and her favorite part of the day is talking to both retail customers and consumers. They may come through the door to purchase items from our “dock sales” area, or retailers may phone her with questions about an invoice or delivery.

Nicole also runs daily computer reports to make sure receipts and invoices balance, as well as working with the special events team, drivers, suppliers, Sales Associates and managers. She taught herself everything she needed to know about the job.

“I had never even worked in an office atmosphere before I joined Ohio Valley,” says Nicole. “I was a manager at a local dry cleaning store for 14 years. They really took a chance on me. I love being part of the team and having fun throughout the work day!”

Nicole has two children and one granddaughter, and the family enjoys cheering on her son’s Cincinnati Reds RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) team during the summer months.
