12 BEERS OF CHRISTMAS
The English Christmas carol “The Twelve Days of Christmas” itemizes a list of increasingly grand gifts given on each of the twelve days of Christmas, from December 25 through January 5.
The song was written in 1780, so the gifts in today’s world are a little odd and less than practical. If you wanted to splurge on your sweetie and do a traditional “12 Days of Christmas” celebration, you may be paying it off well into 2022 (and beyond). According to PNC Wealth Management, the “12 Days of Christmas” gifts this season will set you back $41,205.58. Not cheap! Plus after dropping $13,125.00, if you don’t have a pond, where would you keep your seven swans a swimming?
Go the much easier and financially prudent route and pick something nice from Heidelberg’s 12 Beers of Christmas. You’ll save a lot of money and the cans and bottles are recyclable!
