Doing Good

DOING GOOD IN COLUMBUS

In the December Roar On Heidelberg Columbus’ involvement with the Columbus Zoo’s “Wine for Wildlife” fundraiser was mentioned. The event is the Columbus Zoo’s biggest annual charity function. On-Premise Field Sales Manager and Fine Wine Specialist Justin Wise was not mentioned in the previous newsletter for his efforts and hard work. Justin put together the auction packages and secured Torbreck Winery as a featured wine partner for this great event. Our apologies for the error. Great work Justin!

DOING GOOD IN TOLEDO

  • On December 8, Heidelberg Toledo provided 100 boxes and logistic needs for the Hyland Group Turkey Giveaway. Draft Techs Bill Day and Chad Peters picked up 100 turkeys from Sautter’s Market and delivered them to the YMCA to be distributed to families in need.
  • Heidelberg Toledo adopted a family this Christmas from Lucas County Children’s Services. Gifts for the family included a Toledo Zoo membership, gift cards, clothes, toys, a bicycle and a PlayStation 4.

  • Team Toledo would like to thank everyone who made this families 2020 Christmas extra special. Special thanks to Administrative Manager Nicole Zam for taking the monetary donations and shopping for the family and delivering the donations.

DOING GOOD IN LORAIN

  • Team Lorain collected and donated $1600 to the Lorain Valor Home. This worthy organization provides transitional housing for homeless veterans in our area. Each vet will receive a gift card to spend as they wish. They also stocked their common area with goodies.
