Doing Good in Our Communities
→ We can thank the not-for-profit organization Keep Ohio Beautiful (KOB) and its 40 affiliates around the state for helping to keep Ohio clean and green! KOB connects volunteers with local environmental projects that produce measurable economic benefits throughout the state, and last year nearly 85,000 Ohioans volunteered in nearly 3,500 cleanup and beautification projects! Heidelberg is a corporate supporter for KOB, and several of our local facilities also support activities of KOB affiliates.
→ Team Toledo participated in a recent “speakeasy” event called “The Mix Prohibition” held at Toledo Spirits. About $130,000 was raised for the Arts Commission.
