Doing Good

TEAM DAYTON

→ Heidelberg Dayton was one of the sponsors of the 26th annual Empty Bowls fundraiser. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s event was held virtually. The event benefits the Second Harvest Food Bank (SHFB) in Springfield, a program run by Catholic Charities. Individual bowls were sold for $15 and sets of four bowls were sold for $55. One $15 bowl provides 75 meals.

→ Heidelberg provided beer and wine at the Dayton Mall’s revised and re-tooled Community Day celebration on October 24. The event celebrated local nonprofits and volunteers and replaced the original outdoor event which was moved to May 2021.

TEAM YOUNGSTOWN

→ Team Youngstown participated with Donnell Ford to help to raise over $4,000 for Angels for Animals, a local group that helps with the animals in our local area.

→ They also participated with Vernon’s in Niles, to help one of their employee’s son who lost his legs in an accident. That event raised over $5,000. Roar On, Team Youngstown!!
