→Ten-year-old C.J. DeJohn, son of Lorain Wine Trends sales professional Whitney DeJohn, got the thrill of his life on August 2 when he got to interview and spend time with some of his Cleveland Browns heroes. C.J., who was born with a heart defect, was selected to be a “Junior Reporter” for Cleveland.com through Make a Wish Foundation. He spent the day at the Browns training camp and met quarterback Baker Mayfield as well as a lot of other players and coaches. Cornerback T.J. Carrie, who had open-heart surgery as a 15-year-old, shared his inspirational experiences with C.J. TMZ also did a feature story on C.J. and T.J. Here they are pictured comparing heart surgery scars at the Cleveland Browns Training Camp.


Oh, Baby!

→ Dayton driver Cody Liston and his wife Ashley announced the birth of baby Piper Quinn on July 11. Piper’s big brother is Cohen.

→ Dayton IT Associate Cody Wicks and wife Emily welcomed twin girls on July 21! Babies Riley and Sophie are getting lots of help from big sister Zoey.

Andrew Harcula, Lorain day warehouse, and his girlfriend Angie welcomed baby boy Levi Michael on July 26.

Dave Ruhl and his wife Ashley announced the birth of baby girl Madison Lee on July 26. Taking her new role as a big sister very seriously is 7-year-old Jordyn. Dave is a driver at Lorain.

→ Dayton warehouse Associate Pat Hall and his girlfriend Alexis Wise welcomed their first child, Carter Hall, on August 20.


In Memory

→ Ty Kelley’s wife Nicole (Nikki) passed away on August 5 at age 45 after a well-fought battle with cancer. Ty is Market Manager East for Dayton Beer.

→ Stacia Suzanne Allison, sister of Columbus wine District Manager Scott McIntosh, died on August 9 after a five-year battle with cancer. Stacia was 48 years old.

→ Lorain On Premise Wine Manager Lori West lost her 90-year-old father, Armin Langholz on August 11.

→ George Hueing, brother-in-law to Dick Deis, died on August 22. Dick is a long-time Associate in Dayton’s maintenance department.

→ Thomas “TJ” Horn, brother of Heidelberg VP of Fine Wine Sales & Education Mary Horn, died August 25. He was 61 years old.
